Chartreuse Fruit

Posted by

Mary and I are working our colors this week and the color for today is Chartreuse. I looked for yellow-green objects all day and didn't come up with much that was great and then just at the end of the day I found a long line of leaf cutter ants busily carrying their leaves home. I took some time photographing them and came up with some shoots that I will post at flicker when I get done with my blog entry for tonight (if I have energy left), at any rate, they were good but then I walked past a sink with this piece of fruit sitting in it and knew I had my photo. Red sink, Chartreuse green fruit, be still my heart! Don't ask what this is, I have no idea! I'm in Costa Rica till August and we are doing this color study long distance...I can't wait to see what Mary came up with tonight.

My photobuddy Mary Brooks Brown and I are doing a summer long study of photographic ideas. We'll both be posting our best of images to our blogs and at my Flickr and Mary's Flickr sites.

Really excellent! Great solution to the challenge. Good eye. I think this challenge is causing you and Mary to see more.

The fruit looks like an unripe mango.
