Graduation

I won a second place at Chester County Camera Club with this image. It was Assigned - negative space, color, digital category.

It was taken this May at the University of Delaware graduation commencement. My son, Matt walked at this ceremony. Thank you to everyone that held him in their positive thoughts thru an incredibly difficult time. He's surrounded by the love and support of so many people, folks he doesn't even know personally helped Chuck and I help him. It's been a year and I'm still thankful for all my friends and my community and that Matt is alive.

Excellent shot, lucky those chairs were empty. It just wouldn't look the same filled with people.

@Susan: Hi Susan, No problems with Matt but he was the victim of a violent attack.

Great color as it's vibrancy just jumps. Who would ever think blue and green would be so complimentary but they are here! The patterns and contrast of the chairs is great and the human element just seals the deal. Great shot.
