Times Square

I love NYC. I didn't think I was much of a city person and I am glad to leave after spending a day in the city but I love the atmosphere of a big city. This is Time Square, at night, in the rain, in the cold and it's still fun to be there!

I've never used the Orton Effect before but I think it does some amazing stuff to your photograph. The next week will be all Orton, all week!

Very nice Pat. The Orton effect helps to enhance the wet feeling from the rain.

I love the way the two layers work here, soften the light and adding that essential glow. I've never thought of Orton as a night scene thing, but clearly it works very well.

i just love orton, and this is a wonderful example of it.......i used to do it all the time, before i got involved in hdr.....must get back to using it more often!!!!
