I'm trying to photograph my knitting with a bit of flair. I made two pairs of these mittens to donate to Afghans for Afghans a humanitarian and educational people-to-people project that sends hand-knit and crocheted blankets and sweaters, vests, hats, mittens, and socks to the beleaguered people of Afghanistan. I've knit things for them for years, it feels good, keeping someone else's kid warm, like sending out a hug somewhere in the universe...when someone really needs it.
