This is Delirium, he is a leopard spotted gecko. He's visiting me for the weekend. My photobuddy and professional pet photographer Eric came over and showed Mary and I how to take great pet photographs today. Eric set up lights and brought big back drops...we had a great time chasing the gecko as it headed away from the camera and asking Eric every lighting question we could think up. To see more photos of Delirium, check out my animals set on Flicker.

I like the light on his head, and the tone darkens to his tail. The textures are amazing, composition perfect .
